Dolomites

Auronzo di Cadore

Auronzo di Cadore is a renowned holiday resort in the Belluno Dolomites.

Located in the northernmost part of Veneto, near Cortina, Comelico and Alta Pusteria, it extends at around 900 meters above sea level along the shore left of Lake Santa Caterina.
Surrounded by woods and some of the most beautiful Dolomite groups, with the Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the background, Auronzo is the ideal destination for a holiday dedicated to relaxation and physical activity.

They make Auronzo one of the most sought after destinations in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cortina d'Ampezzo

Cortina d’Ampezzo is also rightly called the “pearl of the Dolomites“, given that this town in the province of Belluno stands in a magnificent position in the Dolomites, a Natural Heritage Site of Humanity UNESCO. Even today, this winter sports resort has several sporting highlights in store every year. The city excites guests both young and old in winter as well as in summer thanks to a varied leisure program for all tastes. While in winter skiers throw themselves into the fun offered by the many kilometers of slopes of the Dolomiti Superski circuit and cross-country skiers enjoy the best prepared slopes of the Dolomiti NordicSki Consortium >.

Val Comelico

In the very high Cadore, on the border between Alto Adige and Austria, lies Val Comelico, a valley as small as it is enchanting. Comelico is surrounded by Dolomite peaks of exceptional charm: the Popera Group, in the heart of the UNESCO heritage area, with Cima Bagni, Cima Undici, Croda Rossa and its satellites, the Vallon Popera, the border ridge with Monte Cavallino and Peralba.

Alta Pusteria

Nature is particularly rich in Alta Pusteria, in fact in the Fanes Sennes Braies and Sesto Dolomites natural park natural monuments stand out such as Lake Braies, the pearl of the Dolomites, as well as Lake Dobbiaco, a popular excursion destination during hot days. The composer Gustav Mahler already celebrated the extraordinary beauty of Dobbiaco. Even in winter the mountains of the Sesto Dolomites attract attention, fascinating anyone who visits them, a wonderful setting for the Sesto Dolomites ski carousel.

San Vito di Cadore

The enchantment of nature and the giants, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

At around 1,000 meters above sea level, San Vito di Cadore is a beautiful mountain town just a short distance from Cortina d’Ampezzo. Behind it is Antelao, in front is Pelmo, both included in the UNESCO Heritage list. In these areas the landscapes are extremely beautiful, the nature is still uncontaminated at times, and the green meadows alternate with dense coniferous and beech forests.

SUMMER

Walking, trekking at high altitude between the refuges, mountaineering, mountain biking: San Vito di Cadore lends itself to many outdoor activities. Don’t miss the tour around the small Mosigo lake, perfect for a picnic, and a bike ride on the Lunga Via delle Dolomiti, the cycle path that connects Cortina d’Ampezzo to Calalzo di Cadore. Also plan a trip to Mondeval: here the skeleton of a prehistoric hunter who lived 7000 years ago was found, “the Mondeval man”, currently preserved in the Selva Museum of Cadore.

WINTER

The San Vito ski area is located in a fabulous panoramic position that is always sunny. It is also part of the Dolomiti Superski and offers 20 km of downhill slopes that guarantee the possibility of skiing and snowboarding. For the little ones, the Kinderheim Neve e Sole is available, a kindergarten on the snow where children can have fun in complete safety.
